Air India Extends Tel Aviv Flight Suspension Until April 30

Air India, owned by the Tata Group, has announced the extension of its flight suspension to Tel Aviv until April 30th, 2024. This decision comes due to the ongoing volatile situation in the Middle East.

In response to this suspension, Air India is offering support to affected passengers, including those with confirmed bookings during this period. The airline has implemented a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges for these individuals.

This decision follows a temporary suspension of flights to Tel Aviv initiated on April 14 due to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

Additionally, Air India recently cancelled flights to and from Dubai Airport due to operational disruptions caused by heavy rainfall, with efforts underway to accommodate affected travellers on alternative flights.

In a separate announcement, Air India also informed passengers about flight cancellations from Dubai Airport due to heavy downpours and resulting operational disruptions.

The airline is working on re-accommodating affected passengers on flights departing as soon as operations resume. Passengers booked with valid tickets for travel to Dubai until April 21st, 2024, will be offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling or a full refund for cancellations.
