British Columbia PNP Draw

February 14 – The BC PNP Draw (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program) sent more than 233 invitations for permanent residency (PR).

This BC PNP draw was targeted at Healthcare and Tech profiles.

The majority; 183 invites were sent to 35 Tech occupations or NOC codes. The remainder went into healthcare and childcare jobs.

These invitations were issued under the Skilled Worker and International Graduate stream, including Express Entry BC PNP option.

The minimum cut off score dropped by 2 points for Tech occupations to 83 as compared to the latest BC PNP Tech-only draw on January 31, 2023.

Furthermore, cut off score also dropped by 5 points for healthcare related occupations.

Processing Time:

Estimated processing time for 80% of the British Columbia PNP applications is 3 months.

These processing times are calculated from the date a complete application is received by the BC PNP after nomination.

However, selected profiles/candidates in a BC PNP stream may need to submit a request after nomination, in case of any of the following:

  • employment status changes after receiving an invitation in a draw.
  • working permit expiry date is within 180 days of receiving the BC PNP nomination.
  • Also, if family structure of the applicant changes.

Eligible candidates can create an online profile with BC PNP here. Once an online profile is created, profiles are eligible to be invited in one of the upcoming BC PNP draws, based upon the total points depending upon the BC PNP scoring matrix.
