Latest BC PNP Draw Issues 169 New Invitations For PR



BC PNP Draw 2023

February 28, 2023 – The BC PNP Draw (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program) issued 169 invitations for permanent residency (PR).

This BC PNP draw was aimed at Tech and Healthcare occupations/NOC codes.

The majority of invites, 145 in total, were addressed to 35 Tech NOC codes. The remaining went to profiles created with childcare and healthcare occupations.


These invites were granted through the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams, as well as the Express Entry options of BC PNP.

When compared to the most recent targeted BC PNP draw on February 14, 2023, the minimum cut off score remained same at 83.

The cut-off score and number of invites in today’s draw are broken down below:

Processing Time For BC PNP:

The processing period for 80% of British Columbia PNP applications is estimated to be 3 months.

These processing periods begin when the BC PNP receives a complete application upon nomination.

Nevertheless, chosen profiles/candidates in a BC PNP stream may be required to submit a request after nomination in case of any of below listed scenarios:

  • Change in employment status after receiving the invite in a draw.
  • Expiry of the work permit is within 180 days of receiving the BC PNP nomination.
  • If applicant has a change in the family structure.

How To Be Eligible for BC PNP Draw:

Candidates who are eligible can build an online profile with BC PNP here.

After an online profile is created, it is eligible to be invited to one of the next BC PNP draws based on the total points earned according to the BC PNP scoring matrix.
