Panorama images at its peak! Instagramming photographer captures jaw-dropping photographs of mountains and large rock formations world wide

‘Mountains maintain an aura and intrigue.’ 

So says Arpan Das, whose unbelievable images of mountains seize the essence of their thriller in spellbinding trend.

Taken in all places from the Canadian Rockies to the Swiss Alps, these photographs are proving a success on Instagram, incomes Das practically 40,000 followers thus far. The Indian photographer, who’s an astrophysicist and information scientist by commerce, reveals his curiosity in mountain images started when he went on a mountaineering tour within the Italian Dolomites. ‘It was throughout that have that I had an epiphany – I knew immediately that panorama images was the trail I needed to pursue passionately,’ he tells MailOnline Journey. And whereas his forte is mountains, he reveals nice aptitude in photographing all kinds of landscapes, from gushing waterfalls to towering rock formations.

Das, who is predicated in Lausanne, Switzerland, reveals he goes to nice lengths to nail the right shot, beginning with extensively researching potential areas utilizing instruments similar to Google Earth. He then hikes by the mountainous terrain to succeed in his desired vantage level, arriving in time to seize the panorama in the very best mild –  ‘throughout dawn, sundown and the night time’. 

As soon as he’s received the shot, Das reveals that post-processing strategies – similar to adjusting the color stability – are ‘essential’ to his work, although he emphasises that he doesn’t digitally manipulate his pictures. The response from fellow Instagram customers is usually considered one of amazement, he reveals, saying: ‘Many of those locations are breathtakingly lovely and evoke a way of surprise.
