British Columbia PNP issues 145 ITAs in a new draw!
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducted a new Skills Immigration draw on May 23, 2023. A total of 145 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to candidates present in the BC PNP pool. This was the fourth BC PNP Skills Immigration draw of the month.
Who was invited?
Targeted invitations to apply to the Skills Immigration streams may be based on one or more of the following factors:
- Education – level, and field of education and where it was completed.
- Eligible professional designations in B.C.
- Language skills.
- Occupation.
- Duration and skill level of work experience.
- Wage and/or skill level of job offer.
- Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region.
- Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labor market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives.

Category 1: Targeted Draw (including Tech occupations)
- A total of 103 ITAs with a minimum score of 90
Category 2: Targeted Draw (Childcare: Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202))
- A total of 20 ITAs with a minimum score of 60
Category 3: Targeted Draw (Healthcare)
- A total of 17 ITAs with a minimum score of 60
Category 4: Targeted Draw (Other Priority Occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104))
- A total of 5 ITAs with a minimum score of 60
BC PNP issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a weekly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the next BC PNP draw – are determined by the needs of the BC PNP application inventory.
