Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) conducted its eighth invitation round for the year on May 18, 2023. The latest PEI PNP draw is in line with the announced PEI PNP draw schedule for this year.

PEI latest draw- Who was invited?

A total of 159 Invitations to Apply (ITA) were issued in this draw to candidates under PEI PNP’s Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labor & Express Entry streams. The May 18th PEI PNP draw also recorded a CRS drop of 7 points for Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.

• Business Work Permit Entrepreneur: 3 invitations with a minimum score of 65.
• Labor & Express Entry: 156 invitations.

This latest PEI PNP draw is a continuation of Prince Edward Island conducting draws with higher ITAs and lower scores – particularly for Labour & Express Entry candidates. With the date of the upcoming draws of the year laid out, it is a clear indication that Prince Edward Island targets to increase the number of candidates eligible to receive a nomination under its PNP-managed streams.
